Important information for poster presentations:

The panels for the poster presentations have the following size: height 120 cm, width 85-90 cm (DinA0 portrait). The posters must not exceed this size. There is no design template, you are free to design and structure your poster as you would like to. We suggest to print the posters on paper with a weigh of about 125 to 170 g/m², so that they can be fixed easily without plunge to the ground because it is to heavy or made of (woven) fabric.

Posters must be hung up not later than 9:00 h a.m. on the day of presentation and removed between 17:00-17:30 h p.m. respectively. It is not allowed to mount posters on the evening before. The day of presentation has been send by email on 14 December 2023 (alternatively you can check your status of the abstract online). Final panel numbers will be send about 14 days before the conference takes place. Please check the poster number before mounting the poster. Please note that only removable adhesive tapes are allowed.

The posters must be removed in the evening by the presenter and the poster panels must be clean and free of debris. If the poster is not removed or the poster panel is left in dirty condition, the organiser will fulfi l the cleaning and charge the presenter a fee of 30,00 €!

PREPARING YOUR PRESENTATION
Since good material does indeed help to clarify your talk and poor material is more likely to distract attention, you may find the following guidelines helpful:

  • We recommend to use MS PowerPoint (.pptx).
  • Make sure your presentation font size is a minimal of 12.
  • To guarantee proper display of your PowerPoint, please prepare it in a 16:9 format.
  • There is no design template, you are free to design and structure your presentation slides as you would like to.
  • Please save your presentation to a USB drive in order to bring it to the congress.
  • Keep the use of animations limited.
  • When you want to make use of videos in your presentation, make sure you have downloaded the files before your arrival. There is limited possibility to download heavy content at the venue.
  • Make sure all your content is embedded in your PowerPoint and not links to external videos for example.

ARRIVAL AND PRESENTATION CHECK
To ensure a smooth programme flow on site, we provide a presentation handling system. There is a special speaker upload room (location will be indicated 14 days before the conference takes places). The room can be used to check and upload your presentation. Please upload your presentation AT LEAST 3 HOURS before your session starts in order to avoid any delays in the programme. If your session takes place early in the morning, please bring your presentation already the day before. A technician will be present to upload your presentation and assist you with further instructions and provide guidance where needed. The speaker upload room has the opening times (times subject to changes):

SESSION
At the time of your presentation: Please be present at the room of your session at least 10 minutes before the start of your session. Please note that your presentation time as indicated in the programme must be strictly followed. A technician will be in the session room to provide assistance when needed.
